Ingredients:


500g boneless chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces

2 medium onions, finely chopped

2 large tomatoes, pureed

1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste

1 teaspoon turmeric powder

2 teaspoons coriander powder

2 teaspoons cumin powder

1 teaspoon red chili powder

1 teaspoon garam masala

1/2 teaspoon dried fenugreek leaves

1 cup heavy cream

100g unsalted butter

Salt, to taste

Fresh coriander leaves, to garnish

Instructions:


In a large saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.

In the same pan, add butter and allow it to melt. Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.

Add the ginger-garlic paste and cook for another minute until fragrant.

Stir in the pureed tomatoes, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and dried fenugreek leaves. Cook until the oil separates from the mixture, about 5-7 minutes.

Add the cooked chicken back into the pan and stir to coat with the sauce.
